Seven Seas Charters is a licensed business in the Cayman Islands which is 100% Caymanian owned and operated. This Cayman Tour Company was solely formed by it's owner and manager Shaun H.C. Ebanks, who by no means is any stranger in the Cayman Islands. Having previously worked in law enforcement for almost twenty years and having chased the bad guy's on land and at sea which became some-what repetitive, he departed his homeland as a distinguished senior ranking police officer in February 2006.
Seeking the experience of a new culture, a bit of adventure and to be his own boss, he relocated to Central America where he established and operated his own successful cattle farming business which was later sold.
Returning back to the Cayman Islands in 2009 with capital from his previous business venture, the idea to establish a unique Cayman boat tours company evolved. Of course, the necessity of locating a quality vessel for this business venture was of paramount importance. After much searching locally/overseas and via the internet, a quality vessel was located in Miami Fla USA. Following an extensive marine survey by (S.A.M.S.) Society Accredited Marine Surveyors from mast to keel, the green light was given to proceed. "VOLARE" a brilliantly designed and well outfitted 34' Hunter sailing yacht (sloop) with a history of limited use, was purchased and effortlessly sailed to Grand Cayman under it's own power.

The captain and his crew are certified by (CI – DOT) Cayman Islands Department of Tourism in it's concept of ensuring as tourism ambassadors, the delivery of (PRIDE) "Personal Responsibility in Delivering Excellence".
Additional Vessel : In March 2011 after numerous requests by smaller family groups (4-6 persons) for private charters on a much smaller vessel, a new 2011 – 18' Angler with a 115 HP Evinrude E-Tec outboard engine was acquired in Miami, Florida. Having been fully inspected and passed by the Cayman Islands Port Authority, Volare II is now available for North Sound boat tours as well.
